This walk follows a footpath down to the River Avon and across the footbridge. It then follows the west bank of the river towards Salisbury through the Avon Valley Local Nature Reserve before returning to Old Sarum.
Extend the walk by following the footpath along the river into Salisbury City Centre and the Cathedral.
Old Sarum is 2 miles North of Salisbury off the A345.
