Broadstone

The red walk is a short, there and back again walk along the Castleman Trailway. This part of the Castleman Trailway provides a very easy walking surface sheltered by trees. The blue walk continues along the Castleman Tralway and returns through Delph Wood.

Delph Woods is a mixed woodland of approximately 23 hectares (57 acres). There are areas of mature Oak woodland, dense Birch and tall Scots Pine. Under the taller trees there are Hazel, Holly, Rowan and Hawthorn.

There are many footpaths through the woods that are worth exploring.

Broadstone is on the B3074 north of Poole. The walks start from the Car Park next to the Leisure Centre. Broadstone is on Wilts & Dorset bus routes 107,109,110, 129-133.
