Broadstone, Dorset, South West England
Broadstone is a thriving village to the north of Poole, it has many shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs to enjoy.
The name Broadstone probably originates from a number of "broad stones" that were laid across the Blackwater stream for people to cross over without wetting their feet. The walk through Delph Woods follows the Blackwater stream for a while.
Broadstone is on the B3074 north of Poole. The walks start from the Car Park next to the Leisure Centre. Broadstone is on Wilts & Dorset bus routes 107,109,110, 129-133.
