This circular walk starts by following the road from the Castell y Bere car park to Llanfihangel-y-pennant. From here it follows a stream up a hill past a series of small waterfalls, then a path along the side of the Cader valley to provide fine views of Castell y Bere.
Start either from the Castell y Bere car park or Llanfihangel-y-pennant after completing most of the blue walk.
Follow signposts to Castell y Bere car park from Abergynolwyn (approximately 6 miles from Tywyn on the B4405).
