The circular walk starts from the Castell y Bere car park, it goes around Castell y Bere on footpaths over farmland and up to the small village of Llanfihangel-y-pennant.
If you intend doing both walks in this area we recommend this walk before the red walk which can be joined at Llanfihangel-y-pennant.
Follow signposts to Castell y Bere car park from Abergynolwyn (approximately 6 miles from Tywyn on the B4405).
