The TUC Tolpuddle Martyrs Museum. This is on the outskirts of the village towards Dorchester. Here you can learn more about the Tolpuddle Martyrs: James Hamet, James Brine, Thomas Standfield, John Standfield, George Loveless and James Loveless, who were transported to various parts of Australia for setting up a farm workers union. They became popular heroes and all were released in 1836, except for James Hammett who was released in 1839.
