The Inland Coast Path, The Brewers Arms, Martinstown
This walk follows a footpath through the valley of the South Winterborne stream, then climbs to the top of Ridge Hill where it follows the Coast Path towards Bronkham Hill before turning back towards Martinstown. On a clear day you can get excellent views of Weymouth, Portland and the coast.
Around Weymouth the South West Coast Path takes two routes. The first actually follows the coast around Portland. The second takes an inland route between Weymouth and Dorchester via the Hardy Monument.
At the roundabout where the A37 joins the A35, to the west of Dorchester follow the signpost to Martinstown. Drive through the village until you get to The Brewers Arms.
