From Cranborne the walk follows the Jubilee Trail via Cranborne Farm to Jack's Head Corner. It then takes a footpath towards Boveridge followed by a quite road before turning in to Burwood. Follow the track through Burwood and footpaths through fields back to the village.
Burwood is used to rear game-birds particularly Pheasant, they can often surprise you, when startled they fly away in a whirr of wings.
Cranborne is on the B3078 between Wimborne and Fordingbridge. The walk starts from the car park by Cranborne First School. Unfortunately the car park is often full but you can usually park nearby on the road.
