This short walk from Lawson Clump car park follows graveled tracks through Gore Heath, part of Wareham Forest.
The photos for this walk were taken after some tree felling by the Forestry Commission, an operation intended to help with heath restoration. Some of the timber stacks in the photos may not be there when you do the walk.
For your own safety, do not climb on the timber stacks.
Lawson Clump is a small quiet car park on the B3075 Wareham to Blandford road to the south of the A35 Poole to Dorchester road.
