From the car park at Burton Beach follow the South West Coast Path over Burton Cliff to the river, then follow the river inland. At the footbridge across the river you can either take the inland route back to the car park or continue to West Bay through the Freshwater Holiday Park and over East Cliff. Return to the footbridge along a short stretch of road, through the golf course and Holiday park.
Burton Bradstock is on the B3157 between Abbotsbury and Bridport. Turn down Beach Road from the B3157 on the Abbotsbury side of the village. The walks start from the National Trust beach car park at the end of Beach Road.
