This walk follows a road and footpath to Swyre Head. On a clear day from the top of the tumulus at Swyre Head you can sea the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Portland. From Swyre Head you follow a zig-zag footpath down a steep hill then through some fields to the South West Coast Path at Rope Lake Head. The walk then follows the coast path to the top of Houns-tout Cliff where the walk turns inland to the car park.
