Starting from the National Trust car park the walk follows the Purbeck Way through woodland towards East Creech until it meets a quiet road. It then follows the road for a short while before going through a field and up a steep climb to the top of Knowle Hill. The walk continues along the top of Knowle Hill and West Hill back to Corfe Castle. The decent from West Hill is steep. From the top of these hills you can get spectacular views of the valley down to Swanage and of Corfe Castle. On a clear day you can see the Isle of Wight in the distance.
